Abstract:

The coordination development of higher vocational education in different areas is an important part in higher vocational education.  From perspective of large region，based on an analysis of four dimenlions:quantity，quality，structure and efficiency，this paper finds that higher vocational education resources in Yunnan province are distributed unbalanced regionally.  Central Yunnan has absolute advantagel.  There is a big difference for distribution of advanced education resources.  Southwest and northwest Yunnan are superior in their optimized faculty structure，while central Yunnan has advantage in vocational major resources，but still distributed intensively. The advantage in west and southwest Yunnan lies in their educational efficiency promotion.  For further development，it suggests that central Yunnan should play the leading and demonstrating role and should reinforce intra-regional cooperation，and that it should give assistance to oriented areas in northeast and northwest Yunnan.
