Abstract: Accordingtomajorsstructurelayout,wecanlearnthestatusandtrendofthehighervocationaleducationdevelopmentindifferentregionsofYunnanProvince.Thispaperdescribesandanalyzesthemajorsstructurelayoutfromthreedimension,majorstypes,thescaleofmajorsandthetimeofmajors.Itconcludesthatthemajorsstructureofmulticategory,multidisciplinary,thenumberofsmallgapsinmajors,completingmajorscoveragehasbeenformed.Theproblemssuchasmajorsunevendistribution,largedifferencesinnumber,lowaggregation,thelargedifferencesinthenumberofstudentsincollegestillexist.Majorssettingprinciplesofaccordingtodemands,characteristicsstrengthened,facingsociety,fullargument, structuraloptimization, preferredsettings, quantitycontrolling, continuousconstruction,areproposed.Andpracticalthinkingofreasonablemajorssettingandlayoutaccordingtoclassificationisproposed.
