Abstract: Themodernapprenticeshipsystemplaysanimportantroleincultivatinghighqualityskilledtalents.Usingquestionnairesandinterviews,thispaperanalyzestheshortcomingsofprofessionaleducationfromtheaspectsofteachingcontents,teachingmethods,practicaltrainingconditionsandteachingstaffofhighervocationalhotelmanagement,proposestointroducemodernapprenticeshipandbuilda“doublesubject”cooperationmechanism promotedbythegovernment,adjustandoptimizepracticalteaching,andestablishacurriculumsystemof“acontinuousprogressionofabilitiesindifferentstages”tocreateaprofessionalatmosphere,helpstudentsadapttothedoubleidentitiesof“studentapprentice”assoonaspossible,createafulltimeandparttime“doublequalification”teachingstaffandestablish“doublestandards”supervisionandevaluationsystem.
