Abstract: Aquestionnaireconcerninglearningautonomyandlearninganxietywasconductedtonon-EnglishmajorfreshmeninGXNU,GUETandGUT.Theresultshowstherearecorrelationsforstudentsbetweenlearningautonomyandlearninganxietyinsomedegree.Thebetterlearningautonomyis,thelowerlearninganxietyis,orviceversa.Finally,theresearcherputsforwardsomesuggestionsasfollows:(1)tocreatearelaxingclassroomatmospheretolowerstudentslearninganxietyandguidethemtorationallyunderstandanxiety;(2)toemployproperlearningstrategiestopromotelearnerautonomy;(3)tomakethebestuseofnetworkplatformtocreatealearningspaceforstudents.
