Practice and Strategy of Developing Students' Employment Abroad in Higher Vocational Colleges :Kunming Metallurgy College as an Example

Abstract:

With the increasing demand for high-quality labor force in international labor market，the pattern for labor force has been transferred from physical workers to high-skilled personnel，and the demand for technology-oriented labors is obviously on the rise. Taking the practice of students' employment abroad in Kunming Metallurgy College as an example，this paper analyzes the problems and reasons of students'employment abroad and puts forward four strategies as follows:1. Strengthen and give more attention to management of students' employment abroad;2. Talent-cultivation object he in line with international standards;3. Build up guidance mechanism;4. Choose legitimate and professional intermediary.
