Abstract: Dumpistheshelterofopenpitwasterock.Itisvitaltodesignslopeofadumpandanalyzeitsstability,whichdirectlyaffectsthenormaloperationoftheopenpit.Inordertoensurethesafeuseofthewasterocksiteanditsslopestability,thefinitedifferenceprogramFLAC2D andlimitequilibriummethodwereusedtocalculatethestabilityofthecurrentslopeofthewasterocksiteundernatural,seismicanrainfallconditionsinlinewiththeengineeringgeologicalconditions.Thesimulationresultsshowthatunderthreedifferentworkingconditions,theslopestabilityofthewasterockyardmeetstherequirementsofthestandardsafetygrade,andtheslopeisstableandhasacertainsafetyreserve.Itshowsthatthedesignschemeoftheoriginalwasterockyardstackingisreasonable,andcanprovideareliable.
