Abstract: Thesiltyinterlayer/laminaeinshalehasimportantsignificanceforreservoirproperty,gasbearingproperties,gasmigrationandfracturingdevelopmentofshalegas.Thesiltyinterlayer/laminaedevelopedinQiongzhusiFormationoutcropsectioninKunmingwerestudied.Theresultsshowthat:1)thesiltyinterlayer/laminaeandpureblackshalelayerhaveobviousdifferencesincolor,structure,morphology,grainsizeandmineralcomposition;2)Inthelongitudinaldirection,thedistributionandsinglelayerthicknessofsiltyinterlayer/laminaearerelativelyheterogeneous;3)Thefractaldimensionis0.702,whichissmallandmayindicatethebigdifferencebetweenthesinglelayerthicknessofthesiltyinterlayer/laminarintheshale.TheresultscanbeusedtoestimatetherelevantprametersofQiongzhusiFormationshaleinadjacentareasorthesamesedimentaryenvironment.
