Abstract: Abstract:Thisarticleconductsadetailedinvestigationintothegeologicalandenvironmentalconditions oftheChubalandslideslopeareaontheleftbankoftheLancangRiver.Itemploysmethodssuchasgeo logicalmapping,mountainengineering,andexperimentalanalysistoexaminethedevelopmentcharacter isticsofthelandslidesdangerousrockmasses,foundations,andaccumulations.Throughqualitativea nalysisandmathematicalcalculation,thestabilityofeachdangerousrockmassiscomprehensivelyevalu ated,identifyingthefailuremodesandthreatrangesofthedangerousrocks.Forhighriskdangerous rocks,apreventionandcontrolplancombining“stoneblockingwall,stoneblockingnet,manualhazard removal,andactiveprotectivenet”isproposedbasedonengineeringimplementationconditions.Thea nalysisofthedevelopmentcharacteristicsoftheChubalandslideandthestudyofpreventionandcontrol measuresprovidedesignreferencesfortheriskavoidanceandengineeringtreatmentofsuchlandslides.
