Abstract: Abstract:Inordertocomprehensivelyunderstandtheimpactofdifferentinstabilitycriteriaonslopesta bilityanalysisusingthestrengthreductionmethodandaddressissuesrelatedtoslopeinstability,this studyconductedresearchontheinfluenceofdifferentinstabilitycriteriausingthestrengthreductionfinite elementmethodonthestabilityofhomogeneoussoilslopes.ThestudywascarriedoutontheABAQUSfi niteelementsoftwareplatform.Detailedanalysiswasperformedonthedifferencesinslopesafetyfactors obtainedusingthestrengthreductionmethodunderdifferentinstabilitycriteria.Thestudyalsoanalyzed howvariationsinsoilstrengthparametersaffectslopestabilityunderdifferentinstabilitycriteria.There searchresultsindicatethattherearedifferencesinthesafetyfactorsobtainedusingthestrengthreduction methodunderdifferentinstabilitycriteria.However,theextentofthesedifferencesdependsonthevaria tionofsoilstrengthparameterswithincertainranges.Additionally,changesinsoilcohesion,internal frictionangle,Poissonsratio,andotherparametersalsoinfluencethecriticalstateoftheslope,thede velopmentoftheplasticzone,andtheshapeoftheslidingsurface.
