Abstract: The existence of “ poetry” has nothing to do with the extemal form of the work , but dependson whether the work has its inherent poetry or not. Imagination is an important means to realize the aes-thetic appreciation of poetry. Poems and prose of Chen Chaohuiis still prose in form, but it contains astrong poetic flavor. Light ink through his unique artistic processing techniques, using “imagination”as abond to “ poetry”in its highly concentrated poetic language, the achievement of his poetry and prose.
