Abstract:

Dongba ritual of Naxi has its own religious connotation and is performed by priests to use drumstrictly according to the procedures，one of the most important musical instruments.  Based on fieldwork，from its origin and manufacture，this paper places drum in the context of Dongba culture to analyze its'
use in the ritual and interpret drum language culture.
