Abstract: Taking the ideological and political education of the Remote Sensing Technology Application of the surveying and mapping engineering technology professional group in vocational colleges as an example, the paper elaborates on the methods for exploring ideological and political elements in the surveying and mapping and geographic information industry, actively integrates ideological and political education into professional courses, and adheres to the integration of professional knowledge teaching with ideological and political guidance. A diversified evaluation system for curriculum ideological and political education is established. In the implementation of ideological and political education in the Remote Sensing Technology Application, the fundamental task of moral education is thoroughly carried out, and ideological and political education is organically combined with professional course teaching, achieving good educational outcomes. This study provides a reference for the ideological and political construction of other professional courses in surveying and mapping and geographic information.
