Research on the "Dual Leadership" Model for the Team Building of Party Branch Secretaries of University Teachers

Abstract: Teachers' Party branch secretaries play a leading, exemplary, and modeling role in university grassroots Party organization building. In the new era, promoting of "dual leadership" model in the team building of teachers' Party branch secretaries is a fundamental and strategic task. It is not only the inter- nal need to strengthen ideological and political work in colleges and universities, but also an inevitable requirement for promoting the connotative development of higher education. Based on the work practices, this paper explores how to cultivate a team of teachers' Party branch secretaries who are strong in party consciousness, professional excellent, authoritative and dedicated. It analyzes the current situation, ex- isting problems and reasons of the "dual leaders" team building of teachers' Party branch secretaries, and then puts forward specific solutions in terms of selecting the best candidates, building mechanisms, and promoting the integration of Party building and business.
