Fostering virtue through education plays a fundamental role in the physical education in higher vocational colleges.  As an important PE course，.the integration of fostering morality in the actual teaching practice should be made to achieve the designed teaching targets with effective teaching methods.  The paper discussed on the current situation of college tennis teaching in higher vocational colleges，analyzes the educational value and strategies of reforming the of the course from the perspective of morality cultivation，so as to provide reference for the reform of tennis teaching in higher vocational colleges.
