Abstract: Abstract:Inordertoaccuratelydeterminethesiliconcontentinferrosiliconandmanganesesiliconal loys,thenationalstandardrecommendedmethodofperchloricaciddehydrationweightmethodwassuc cessivelyusedfortesting.Duetothehighrequirementsforsodiumperoxidesolidfluxusedinthenation alstandardmethod,itisdifficulttomasterduringthesamplemeltingprocessofthetestmethod.The fluxiseasytosplashandoverflowduringthetest,andthesampleisalsolostwiththeoverflowofthe flux,resultinginlowandunstablemeasurementresults.Themethodusesgranularsodiumhydroxideto meltinsteadofsodiumperoxideastheflux,meltsinahightemperaturemufflefurnaceat650℃ for15 minutes,andreferstotheperchloricaciddehydrationstepandwashes.Thetemperaturewasslowlyand slowlyincreasedfrom400℃ to650℃ inamufflefurnace.Thefilterpaperandsamplewereashened, ignited,andconstantweight.ICPmethodwasusedtodeterminethepercentageofresidualsiliconinthe filtratetoverifythelotioneffectandstability.Therelativestandarddeviationofthemethodtestresultsis between015% and122%,thedeviationofthetestresultsislessthan035% specifiedinthenation alstandard,andtheaccuracymeetstheallowabledeviationofthecurrentnationalstandardmethod.
