Tocontrolpotentialmininghazardsinducedbyundergroundgoafs,thewasterockbackfillsystemwasdesignedandconstructedinGanZhongTungstenMine.Thesystemincludesconveyingequipmentsoftramcars,rocktransferbyelectricrakes,haulagenetworkandminingworkings.Totalvolumeof322000m3ineightgobsisefficientlybackfilledwithwasterocksinthepasttwoyears.Fieldeffectsindicatethatbackfillrateis60% ~70%,whichisapplicabletocontrolpotentialhazardssuchasrockmovement,rockburstandsurfacesubsidence.Additionally,backfillconstructionreducestheannualpricesofrockliftandtransportationbysixmillionyuaneveryyear,whichfurtherloweredthelanduseofsurfacedumping.
