Abstract: Recessive education is relative to the dominant education. Recessive education is an important part of school education, which can have imperceptible influence on student's thought. The efficiency of resources in extensions can enhance the effect of the recessive ideological education in colleges and universities better accomplish the aim of education for students. Firstly recessive education in three respects: characteristics, functions and advantages was summarized. Secondly the relationship between the recessive education and ideological work was discussed. Finally the efficiency of the recessive ideological education in colleges and universities resources extension was analyzed, hoping to help for improving the effectiveness of the recessive ideological education in colleges and universities.
