In order to Provide some meaningful reference for the theoretical and practical reform of teaching quality of normal universities in border ethnic regions, specific measures and suggestions were given in this research. These suggestions were given by based on analysis of the practical problems faced in normal universities and the status of teaching quality in normal universities development . It is to be hoped that these measures and suggestions will improve the teaching quality of normal universities in border ethnic regions.

In combination with the practice of implementing performance salary system reform in higher vocational colleges, authors analyze all kinds of personnel merit pay in higher vocational colleges; discuss how to deal with the relations of distribution among the various types of personnel merit pay. According to the process of performance salary design in higher vocational colleges, and from strengthening the management, to establish a relatively reasonable evaluation mechanism and reasonable income gap, suggestions on how to improve the system of performance wage distribution were given to realize all kinds of common development and actively explore the flexible incentive mechanism.

Many researches have been done to deal with the problems in graduation thesis writing of English major, but little concern is given to the role of the experiential and cognitive foundation of the writer in thesis writing. The present paper, based on a survey of the dissertation writing process, argues that the lack of this foundation accounts for the major difficulties in thesis writing. This paper, grounding on assumptions of cognitive theory, proposes a thesis writing and guiding model with the teaching practice as resources and tries to construct an assessment system with 5 dimensions for the guidance of graduation thesis writing.

According to the talent type analyses, and the general requirements for the higher vocational college talent training by the National Outlinefor Medium and Long Term Education Reform and Development(20102020), practical issues for landscape architecture professional talent training at the present stage in China was analyzed by comparing the talent type needs in more than 550 landscape architecture enterprises. Solutions to them were proposed. The research provides a theoretical foundation for the talents training objective, the training standard, the demand analysis, the personnel cultivating program and the training scale of the higher vocational landscape architecture education. It also can provide a reference for the study of the school enterprise joint education model.

Recessive education is relative to the dominant education. Recessive education is an important part of school education, which can have imperceptible influence on student's thought. The efficiency of resources in extensions can enhance the effect of the recessive ideological education in colleges and universities better accomplish the aim of education for students. Firstly recessive education in three respects: characteristics, functions and advantages was summarized. Secondly the relationship between the recessive education and ideological work was discussed. Finally the efficiency of the recessive ideological education in colleges and universities resources extension was analyzed, hoping to help for improving the effectiveness of the recessive ideological education in colleges and universities.

Status of public sports course in colleges and universities in Yunnan was investigated. The results show that: there are some problems in Yunnan universities such as public physical education teachers, physical education, physical education evaluation. By analyzing the current situation of public physical education in colleges and universities in Yunnan, some suggestions were given. These suggestions are strengthening the construction of public colleges and universities sports curriculum, instructing staff development and the reform of public physical education teaching in colleges, as well as the improvement of college physical education examination method.
