Abstract: Artificial intelligence technology can significantly enhance the level of academic research and the efficiency of output, but improper applications also pose ethical dilemmas in academic publishing for AI product developers/providers, users, and regulators, including information leakage, data falsification, intellectual property disputes, proliferation of low-quality academic papers, and ineffective countermeas- ures and accountability. Adhering to the principle of putting people first while balancing innovation with self-discipline and external discipline, this approach can help establish clear boundaries, explicit rights and responsibilities, quantifiable standards, and operational regulations specific to the context of artificial intelligence. By creating an ethical review system for academic publishing and enforcing strict accounta- bility, the legal construction of academic publishing ethics can be realized under the rule of law, ensuring the orderly progress of academic innovation and publishing work.
