Abstract: The persistent discrepancy between higher vocational education and industry demands necessi- tates curriculum realignment to bridge the skills gap and enhance graduate employability. Focusing on the course "3D Design Software Application" at Kunming Metallurgy College, this study employs a mixed- methods approach integrating industry interviews, case study analysis, and comparative evaluations to i- dentify core competency requirements for target occupations. The restructured curriculum, co-developed through school-enterprise collaboration, demonstrates significant improvements in pedagogical relevance and workforce readiness. Empirical findings reveal that students engaged in this collaborative model gain authentic workplace competencies, effectively translating academic training into career preparedness.
