Abstract:

  In the excellent policy situation of the development of vocational education, there are still some problems and deficiencies in the teaching of surveying engineering technology in higher vocational colleges. In this paper, Kunming Metallurgy College as an example, the problems and deficiencies existed in teaching of surveying engineering technology are deeply discussed.  Existing problems include that individual textbooks obsolete and new technology courses are not set up in time，part of the majors’ hours less than normal, the insufficient number of equipment, the quality of student decline, young teachers' practical ability is weak. The teaching reform measures, such as the construction of the training base, the training of the double teachers, the cooperation between the school and enterprise, the examination of the standard of the professional skill, were put forward in order to further improve the vocational college of surveying engineering technology professional level and competitiveness.
