Abstract: UASBandtwostagebiologicalcontactoxidationprocesswascombinedtoapplytotreatthewastewaterofadairycompanyinYunnanProvince.Thetreatmentcapacitywas1500m3·d-1.TheresultsshowthatoutputwaterqualityisuptostandardwithparameterslikeBOD5,CODcr,SSandammonianitrogenatAlevelofthefirstgradeof“CitiesSewageTreatmentPlantPollutantDischargeStandard”(GB18918—2002).ThebiologicalcontactoxidationprocesswasusedinthesectionA/O/A/O,soastoreducesludgeproductionandtherunningcostsoftheenterprise.Thesludgeisreusedthroughbiologicaldigestionandmethaneisreusedthroughseparatortechnology.
