Abstract: Thispaperanalyzedthecoolingsystemofroadheaders,whichcannoteffectivelycoolthecuttingmotorandthepumpstationmotor.Thecoolingsystemcannoteffectivelyeliminatetheheatgeneratedbythehydraulicpump,overflowvalveandflowcontrolvalveinthehydraulicsystem.Thedefectsinthespraydustremovalsystemareeasytocausedamageofcuttingarm.Thewaterquantityandspraytimecannotbecontrolledaccurately.Waterfromthecoolingsystemandspraysystemisdirectlydischargedintotheroadway,whichislikelytoresultinroadwaywater,softfloorsurroundingrockandsinkingoftheroadheader.Thecoolingsystem andspraydedustingsystem weremodifiedandgoodresultswereobtained.
