Abstract: MuralinBuddishistTemplesofNortheasternThailandisakindofarchitecturaldecoratingartmixedwithholyandsecularity,whichisproducedwiththeintroductionofthetheravadain13thcentury.ItsuniquemuralpaintingontheexteriorwallofOrdinationHallandthelocalizedmodeoftransmissionmakesitveryspecial.Thecontentsofthemuralareasfollows:thestoryofjataka,thesceneofthesacrificetotheBuddhaandthesceneofthesecularlife.Theformshowstheoriginalnaturalartisticstyle,aestheticformanduniquepaintingtechniques,whichisdifferentfromthegrandroyalstylesuchasSukhothai,AyutthayaandBangkokDynasty.MuralinBuddishistTemplesofNortheasternThailandisavisualartaswellasthesocialimagebeyondthevision.Meanwhile,itisnotonlytheintegrationoftheTheravadaandnativeculture,butalsodeliversthenationalfeelingsandculturalcustomsonthevisualandartisticconception.
