Abstract: The project-based development of”mine design principle"  course was carried.  Based onthe analysis of the work tasks and professional ability of mine design positions，the curriculum learning project was set up，and the curriculum learning module is developed by project，and the project teaching plan was designed. Taking the students as the main body，teaching model based on the work process oriented，task driven project are carried out in the teaching process. The curriculum reform and teaching innovation of mine design principles are advanced.
