Abstract: In order to accelerate the construction of an eco-friendly society and achieve the “ dual carbon’goal as soon as possible, it is becoming increasingly important to cultivate the awareness of “energy savingand low-carbon” among college students. This article takes students from the Anning Campus of KunmingMetallurgical College as the survey subjects. Firstly, a questionnaire survey was conducted on students ofdifferent grades in nine different faculties from three aspects, namely, national policies, personal aware-ness, and personal behavior; Then, based on the survey results, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluationmethod was used to evaluate students’ awareness of saving energy and reducing carbon emissions in differentfaculties. The evaluation results indicate that most students in the college have some psychological awareness of saving energy and reducing carbon emissions. However, in their daily life, most students do notknow how to practice “energy conservation and carbon reduction", and they do not have a clear under.standing of common methods of energy conservation and carbon reduction. Finally, based on the analysisresults, this article proposes strategies to enhance college students’ awareness of "energy conservation and carbon reduction” from the perspectives of the govemment, school, and college students themselvesK.
