Study on Mechanism of Rainwater Pipe Fouling and Clogging

Abstract: The paper analyzed the composition of fouling in the rainwater pipe, measured the seepage andCa ( OH), concentration. The results show that the composition of fouling in the rainwater pipe was calcite crystal. When rainwater penetrates into the concrete, Ca ( OH), dissolves in water and form CaCO.fouling in the rainwater pipe. Repairing water proof layer is the fundamental solution to prevent scaling.
