Abstract: After the on-site visit and investigations along the Yangbi section in the Burma Road. wefound that with changing status of transportation along the Burma Road, there has been relatively litlepreservation of its original appearance. As a result, the inheritance and protection of the counter-Japanese war culture along the road has weakened, and some aspects of this culture have completely disappeared and are irrecoverable. This paper proposes that we should promote the overall awareness to protectthe counter-Japanese war culture along the Burma Road, excavate this aspect of the culture, constructand improve the counter-Japanese War Culture Museum, and form a dedicated team for research, pro.motion , and preservation of the culture. These measures aim to strengthen the inheritance and protectionof the counter-Japanese War culture along the Burma Road.
