Abstract: The design and application of ideological and political education in the online course “E-com-merce Security” aims to highlight the importance and implementation methods of conducting ideologicaland political education in demonstration courses of e-commerce security in vocational colleges. Thiscourse introduces ideological and political elements to provide students with ideological education, guid-ing them to establish correct values and moral concepts, cultivate social responsibility and legal aware-ness, stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship enthusiasm, and develop professional competence. Thisarticle explores the overall design of ideological and political education in the course of “ E-commerce Se-curity" , and proposes specific measures such as the planning and practice of online courses, design andimplementation of ideological and political education in courses, and the exploration of ideological andpolitical elements. Finally, this article summarizes the effectiveness of ideological and political educationin the course of“E-commerce Security“.
