Abstract: Toforeignlanguageteachers,theregressionoflinguisticskillsmaynotonlyunderminetheircareerdevelopmentbutalsoimpairtheteachingqualityaswellastheaccomplishmentofthewholeprogram.IthasbeenawarethatthelanguageattritionofhighervocationalcollegeEnglishteacherssharessomepropertieswithotherforeignlanguagelearners,butithasitsownspecialfeatures.Itisconsideredasadynamicandnonlinearprocessinthisresearch.Thequestionnaireisdesigned,andsocollecteddataisprocessedwithfactoranalysisandlinearregressionanalysis.Itisfoundthatvariousfactorsmaybeinvolved,interactingtocausethedifferentiatedegreeoftheforeignlanguageattritionofhighervocationalcollegeEnglishteachers.Theirinfluenceisnonlinearandchangeable.Whilelessfrequentcontactmaybetheroot,theinfluenceofEnglishteachingcanbeprominent.
