Abstract: In the automatic control systems based on computer, the digital filter is often used to eliminate all kinds of noises and interferences in the signal detection channels.  This paper introduced the methods of programming the commonly used digital filtering in automatic control system and the filtering algorithm
on the SIEMENS S7 series controller. It also made a comparative analysis of the effect of computer simulation system on digital filtering.
