Abstract:  In 2019 , the $tate Couneil issued the lmplementation Plan for National Vocational EducationReform , which set specific targets: by 2022, the teaching conditions of vocational colleges should meetbasie standards, and a comprehensive , intemationally advanced vocational education standard system willbe established, covering most industries and fields. International cooperation in education is an essentialway to enhanee the intemationalization of vocational education. This article takes the Canada-China jointprogram in Big Data and Accounting at Kunming Metallurgy College as a case study. lt explores the chal.lenges, achievements, and rellections in aspects such as teaching teams, talent development plans, cur.riculum design , and educational outcomes. By condueting a survey of similar cooperation projeets in otherprovinces, the article provides a comparative analysis, highlighting the prject's experienees and offeringsuggestions for improvement. The goal is to help vocational colleges in Yunnan Province better implementChina-foreign cooperation in aecounting-related education.
