Abstract: Under the background of rural revitalization, some practices of public art in rural areas notonly coordinate the future development needs of the countryside, but also show the cultural life status ofdifferent regions in the new era. Public art, as a form of cultural and artistic dissemination and commu.nication with the public, plays an important role in the protection and development of villages throughdifferent carriers. This paper made a case study of Fengyu County in Dali City and uses local practice asthe entry point to conduct the research and analysis on public art in rural areas via diferent carriers. ltsummarizes the design and practice strategies that can be leared from the case study of Fengyu County,prompting a rethink of the localization and expression of public art in rural areas, and provides a newperspective for exploring the rural practice of public art.
