Abstract: The Chinese classic Red Songs were created in the revolution, construction and reform in China's revolutionary era when China made great efforts in making itself an independent country with the leader-ship of the Party. The songs were made to commemorate the development of the Communist Party of Chinain the early 20th century. Composed with inspiring lyrics with historical and cultural significance, the songsare a group of patriotic songs with heavy tradition , reflecting the spirit shown in the revolutionary struggle.The analysis of the features and historical significance of the Red Songs is of contemporary value.
