Abstract: Transversemagneticisintroducedintheprocessofplasmaarcsurfacingofnickelbasesuperalloy.Usingthefunctionofmagneticfieldtoenhancethepropertiesofsurfacing.Adjustedtheparametersofmagneticfieldandweldprocedurespecificationinthecourseofsurfacing.Hardnesstesting,weartest,microstructureanalysisforoverlayingunderdifferentparameteraregiven.Theresultshowsthatelectromagneticstirringcanimprovetheshapeanddistributionofhardphaseunderpropermagneticfieldparameters.Italsocanrefineanduniformdegreeofprimarycrystallizationstructure,canreducesensitivityofcrackingandpore.Thepropertiesofoverlaydepositareimprovedwhenthemagneticfieldparametersinanoptimallyvalue.
