Abstract: Thispapertalksaboutdeterminationarseniccontentofoutsourcingpigironwithspectrophotometry.Thepigironpowderwasburnedinhightemperaturemufflefurnaceaboutonehour,thencarbonwasremoved.Methodresearchinvolvesthetemperatureofsampledissolution,whichiscontrolledaround200℃.theprocessofsmoketimeofsampledissolutionwasexperimentedandcompared,andalsoresearchesthedeterminationresultsinfluencedbystoragetimeofascorbicacid.therangeoflinearitywasconfirmed,aswellas,detectionlimitedwasdeterminated.Comparedthedeterminationresultswithsamplevaluedbyothermethodwhichconfirmedthemethodisfeasible.Theaccuracyofthemethodiswithinthenationalstandardreferenceranges.RSDofarsenicislessthan4%,whichissuitablefordeterminationarseniccontentofoutsourcingpigironwithspectrophotometry.
