Abstract: Withzeoliteasfiller,thegasliquidcountercurrentimmobilizedcellsdeviceasthefillingtower,05m3/hasoperatingairflow,10L/hasliquidflow,initialpH=20andinitialFe2+ concentrationforabout8g/L,above95% offerrousionsareoxidizedbyimmobilizedcellsin10hours.Theaverageoxidationrateisupto088g/(L·h),whichiseleventimesashighasthatoffreecells.AfterlongtermlowpHadaptation,theimmobilizedcellscankeephighoxidationactivityofferrousions.UndertheconditionofinitialpH=16,9518% offerrousionscanbeoxidizedwithin14hours,andtheaverageoxidationrateisupto063g/(L·h),whichis158timesashighasthatofbeforeadaptation.
