Preliminary Study on the Teaching Reform of Public Physical Education in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract: A series of discussions about physical education ly President Xi Jinping have put forward newrequirements and challenges to physical education in higher vocational colleges.'The successful holding of20th National Congress of the CPC has provided new opportunities and challenges for the construction ofhigher vocational colleges in the new era,especially the new requirements of accelerating the constructionof the leading sports nation,the reform and innovation of public physical education in higher vocationalcolleges has become a new proposition of the times.'The teaching neform and teaching quality of publicphysical education are directly related to the smooth promotion of connotation education in college. 'Thispaper analyzes the existing problems and difficulties encountered in the public physical education courseof higher vocational colleges,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects ofteaching team constnuction , site improvement,rich curriculum content and updating of teaching methods,so as to promote the improvement of the teaching quality of public physical etducation course and thesmooth implementation of teaching reform. In this way , it will help higher vocational colleges promote theinnovation of “thwee education”reforms and smoothly implement the dream of " a leading sports nation".
