Abstract: TakingsoilsinricepaddiesinDatun,atownshipinMengzi,Yunnanasaexample,thispaperanalyzestheoccurrenceofheavymetalsincludingZn,CuandPb,usingBCRsequentialextraction.Thesemetalsarecharacterizedwithexchangeable&carbonateboundedform,sulfide&organicboundedformandresidualform,Fe/Mnoxideboundedformandresidualform.TheresearchshowsthatthesequentialextractionofBCRishelpfulinunderstandingsoilpollutionandreleasingcapacityfrom heavymetals.
