Abstract: For a lead-silver ore , a simple and reasonable gravity separation process was used to study thegravity separation and waste disposal of a lead-silver ore. The lead concentrate containing 53. 71% Pband Ag2 757.80 g/t was obtained when the lead ore contained 41. 76% Pb and 1 915. 77 g/t Ag, therecovery rate of lead is 89. 03% and that of silver is about 91. 98%.

Key words: lead-silver ore, gravity separation and waste disposal, recovery rate, index
