Abstract: Poverty has been a social problem for a long time. Over the past century , taking the Marxistapproaches to anti-poverty, the Communist Party of China has been leading people with founding missionin mind and exploring paths to reduce poverty and made great achievements in building a moderatelyprosperous society and fighting against poverty in all aspects. In the post poverty-alleviation era, absolutepoverty has been gradually eradicated in China and relative poverty will exist with high population vulner-ability, wide distribution and high mobility. To address the relative poverty , it is necessary to uphold theMarxist approaches to anti-poverty and the overall leadership of the Party, accelerate the construction of along-term mechanism for relative poverty-alleviation, actively explore a synergized approach to poverty e-radication and rural revitalization, and strive to achieve people's well-rounded development and commonprosperity for all people.
