As an important component of deepening personnel system reform，post setting&management system is an effective way and method to activate the human resources in colleges and universities. Based on the practice in implementing the post setting&management，this paper summarizes the experience and analyzes the problems and their causes，then it puts forward ways to implement the ongoing system and countermeasures to improve the system as follows:to perfect the environment to carry out the system from macro-level of government;to perfect the social security system and reasonable staff turnover mechanism;to further regulate and improve position description and establish position-based recruitment system;to further improve position-based assessment system;to build up post setting and management-based distribution mechanism;to transfer the autonomy to faculties and make them the subjects of post setting and management.

The coming of information era means the great integration of internationalized economy and educational environment. Thailand，as one of the members of Association of Southeast Asian Nations，has had much commercial trade with China. Hence，the cooperation of higher education between two countries also becomes increasingly frequent. This paper first analyzes the characteristics of internationalized higher education in two countries from perspective of international cooperation. Then it summarizes and concludes that the higher education in Thailand is global一oriented but localized, from which we can learn a lot in order to widen the horizon of higher education and promote process of internationalization in China.

The school-running quality is the key element for higher vocational colleges to survive and developin intense competition.  Taking 12 professional higher vocational colleges with different industries as examples，this paper analyzes the five differences concerning enrollment, sponsorship, assets，major setup,  majors for enrollment&faculty of the colleges.  Then it makes a contrastive study of the school-running qualities and explores the connection and difference among colleges in order to improve the school-running qualities of professional higher vocational colleges.

With the continuous renewal of vocational education concepts and the changes of students'quality，it is imperative to reform the basic quality curriculum in higher vocational colleges.  In view of the difficulties and problems in the process of setting up college English as the compulsory course in higher vocational colleges，this paper puts forward that it is necessary to set up elective courses as supplement and extension and explains that the elective courses could be solutions to students' poor learning autonomy and different English proficiency.  Meanwhile，it demonstrates the feasibility of setting up an elective course with western etiquette culture as contents.

The English teaching in vocational colleges aims to develop students' listening，speaking，reading，writing and translating competence so that they could communicate interculturally，during which，learning strategy plays an important role in developing listening&speaking abilities. Reviewing the literature on learning strategy home and abroad，and based on current situation on learning strategy of English listening and speaking among vocational college students in China，the authors of this paper conducted a questionaire in Kunming Metallurgy College as an example and put forward five suggestions as follows: Pay more attention to listening&speaking learning strategy in classroom teaching;  guide students to get to know the strategy;offer training to students about the strategy;  promote students to apply the strategy in learning;  help students overcome the negative psychology in listening and speaking.

With the increasing demand for high-quality labor force in international labor market，the pattern for labor force has been transferred from physical workers to high-skilled personnel，and the demand for technology-oriented labors is obviously on the rise. The employment quality, as a scientific method to eva luate students' employment，can not only boost the self-development of college students and improve talents-cultivation quality in universities，but also optimize the employment policy from government.  Based on a questionnaire survey to students in Chuxiong Normal University, this paper statistically analyzes the importance and impact of students' background and employment factors，and discusses how the three factors of individual features，social capital and human capital affect the students' employment quality. Then it further puts forward scientific and pertinent suggestions.

The library is one of the most important parts for assessing school-running quality of higher vocational colleges. As the document&data construction，Chinese book purchase，working as a start for other work in library，plays a decisive role for library holding structure and quality. Based on analyzing book purchase bidding in library of Kunming Metallurgy College，this paper points out the existing problems and comes up with countermeasures as follows to maintain stable book suppliers:to carry out project risk management; to set up a reasonable assessment criterion; to effectively control a bid won by lowest price and implement a bid won by qualification;to strengthen quality control of bidding purchase;to extend the bidding period.

The first question of college students' psychological health is about the social anxiety caused by social interaction problems.  Researches find that physical exercise  has  a positive effect on college students' psychological health.  But few researches could be found about how much physical teaching could affect students' social anxiety.  By means of questionaire survey and statistical analysis，this paper explores how different optional classes have effect on students' social anxiety problems.  The results show that sports like playing basketball、volleyball、football and sports dancing could improve the social anxiety of students with melancholic and phlegmatic temperaments;While，sports like yoga，martial arts seem to have obvious roles to students with choleric and sanguine temperaments;Sports like playing ping-gong/tennis，fitness and orientation movement，however, don't have much effect.

ESP(English for Specific Purposes) is an indispensable part of English teaching in vocational colleges.  Based on an analysis of talents cultivation and supply-demand relationship in Yunnan job markets，following teaching direction and goal of ESP，this paper discusses the diversified teaching paths and methods as follows:improving professional English teaching staff's qualification;setting up corresponding ESP courses;compiling professional English textbooks featured by localization，nationalization; building up an integrated“teaching，learning and doing”teaching mode and bringing in diversified teaching evaluation system. Public signs symbolize the social civilization，reflecting the cultural qualities，moral cultivation and spiritual presentation of the society.  Furthermore，it plays an important role in publicizing a country or a city to the outside world. Lijiang is an international tourist destination，the translation of public signs affects its image as one of the top tourist cities in China.  Guided by the functionalist Skopos Theory，this paper first introduces the Skopos Theory and explains the public signs. By doing a field survey of Chinese-English(C-E) translation of public signs in some scenic spots in Lijiang，it classifies,compares and analyzes the great number of samples collected.  Then it further analyzes the current situation of English translation of public signs in these scenic spots，the improper translation in particular.  Finally，it proposes solutions to the poor C-E translation of the public signs.

The New York Times，globally released in New York，USA，featured by its varied and rich contents，is a very good learning resource to English learners.  Readability refers to the degree to which the written materials can he easily read and understood，the measurement of which means a lot to reading comprehension and reading teaching.  The author measured and analyzed the readability of the New York Times with the software AntWordProfiler.  The results indicate that there is high proportion of new words and it is not suitable for college non-English major as reading materials in classroom teaching.  However，as a globally influential English magazine，the New York Times is diversified and rich in contents，making it a useful resource to improve English vocabulary and reading ability out of the classroom.

Zhuaugzi，translated by Wang Rongpei，has significant academic value and is well accepted by academic circles.  As a new perspective of translation studies，Toury's theory of translation norms can he divided into three parts:preliminary norms，initial norms and operational norms.  This paper analyzes
the translation norms of Zhuaugzi by Wang Rongpei，and explores the translation process and social cultural factors so as to reveal the effect of translation norms on the translated version and demonstrate its academic value.

Taking Wuhua district of Kunming as an example，from new perspective of sociolinguistics，this paper studies the way to name the urban streets and analyzes the features of the names of main streets，interpreting the reflected social values from language and society. The result shows that the street names in Wuhua district mainly consist of three syllables，which reflects not only the social life of local people，butalso the local history&culture，and the characteristics unique to city.

There is a tendency for non-ferrous metal enterprises to he collectivized and internationalized.Based on an empirical study with some non-ferrous metal enterprises as samples，this paper analyzes the short-term M&A(mergers&acquisitions)performance and shows the results as follows:①M&A samples with positive wealth effect were on rise after 2009;②Among 67 samples from 2004 through 2010，5 samples didn't undergo significant test，34 produced positive wealth effect while 28 had negativeeffect;③The sample enterprises achieved short-term performance in M&A.
