Abstract: The school‑based professional teaching standards are the upper‑level guiding documents that reflect the school's operation positioning and talent cultivation. They serve as a working guide for formulating talent training plans and guiding the implementation of teaching. Taking the geomatics major as an example, this paper systematically elaborates on the key points, paths and methods of developing the school‑based professional teaching standards under the background of regional economic development and industrial transformation and upgrading. It also provides detailed explanations on how to match a corresponding standard system, teaching team and teaching condition based on the professional curriculum system in the practical process.
