Abstract: Themathematicalmodelswereestablishedbasedonthekeycomponentsofthetraditionalvehicleandhydraulichybridvehicle.ThesimulationmodelwasbuiltundertheMatlab/Simulinkplatform.Theenergymanagementstrategybasedonruleswereproposedandanalyzedandfourmodesweredesignedcorrespondingly.ThecontrollogicofitsmodeswereimplementedintheSTATEFLOW module.Simulationresultsshowedthattheprogramcouldmeetthetotalpowerdemandsandtheengineraninthebestfueleconomyarea.Thefueleconomyofthehydraulichybridvehiclewasimprovedbycomparingfueleconomycurves
