Abstract: Abstract:Tocontrolthebenchblastingvibrationinsurfacemining,thestudyintroducedthesoftwareANSYS/LS-DYNAtosimulatetheevolutionofparticlevibrationvelocity.Thesimulationwascarriedoutinregardtoelasticfracturezonesinsequentialbenchblastingwithvariousinitiationdelays.Theresultsshowedthattheenhancementorweaknessofblastingstresswavesleadedtocorrespondingvariationsofparticlevibrationvelocity,andthesevariationsweresimilarregardlessofinitiationdelayswhentheblastholeintervalswere9m.Additionally,theresultantvibrationvelocitywasminimumduring20~50msafterinitiation.Therefore,theoptimalinitiationdelayedintervalsinbenchmillisecondblastingwereinferredas20~50mswhentheblastholeintervalswere9m.
